In a story that is being widely ignored or underreported by the leftist media, the parents of Pat Harrigan, a Republican candidate for North Carolina’s 14th Congressional District, was targeted by gunfire.
Harrigan’s children were in the house at the time of the gunshots, with a bullet hitting a window in the home’s laundry room. Thus far no arrests have been made, and there are no suspects at the present time.
This is part of a troubling trend of left-wing terror against Republicans that is sweeping the nation.

Big League Politics reported on how a teenager was run down and murdered by a drunken assailant because the deranged left-wing maniac believed he was an extremist:
“A far-left assailant has been charged with vehicular homicide after hunting down and murdering a white teenager because of the teen’s alleged conservative views, in an act of obvious terrorism.
41-year-old Shannon Brandt admitted to law enforcement that he hunted down 18-year-old Cayler Ellingson in his vehicle, stalking him during the final moments of his young life, because he believed the young man was a right-wing extremist, according to court documents.
Brandt pursued Ellingson in his vehicle and ran him down until he was dead before fleeing the scene. He later called 911 and owned up to what he did. Brandt has been charged with vehicular homicide and is currently being held on a $50,000 bond.
“I have a job, a life and a house and things I don’t want to see go by the wayside — family that are very important to me,” Brandt said to the judge, arguing he should be let free.
Brandt was reportedly drunk when he committed the heinous act of violence. He said he targeted Ellingson because of his participation in a Republican group, concocting a deranged fantasy that the young victim and his allies were targeting him.
“We are still trying to determine what, exactly, transpired at the time of crash and prior to that as well,” said North Dakota Highway Patrol Capt. Bryan Niewind.
“We do not know of any witnesses. We are still making attempts to interview potential witnesses from the street dance, people that were present prior to the crash happening,” Niewind added.
Ellingson’s family has created a GoFundMe to raise money for funeral expenses. His murder comes shortly after national Democrat leaders have escalated dangerous rhetoric against their political opposition.
