Paypal was a good company, but now is fraudulent.

Blocks customers from their own accounts.

There are not (yet) any well developed alternatives to the “SWIFT” system, PayPal, etc, BUT, the alternatives are out there, and they are growing.

Right now, it’s pretty spotty or in its early stages, but the Chinese/Russian alternative to the SWIFT system will really help to open up the world markets and compete with the “Western” systems.

Bitcoin is doing some decent functioning as a money system in many ways. It has its problems, but it also has its glory.

GoldMoney is an interesting hybrid of real gold, fiat currency, SWIFT system debit cars, gold transfers, etc. as a way to save your money into gold and also to “spend” your gold in the normal market place. But I’ve experienced that GoldMoney is SLOW to process “deposits” and “redemptions”. It often takes them more than 24 hours to put each step. Often 30-48 hours before you can use/spend your “money”. I can see some reasons for delays in getting physical gold into the vault account, but there is NO reason why it should take more than 10 minutes to load your “redemption/ gold-sales” onto the debit card, yet I have often had to wait more than 24 hours for my “gold sale” to be loaded onto the MasterCard/debit card for me to spend it.

I suspect they are having some hidden problems?

The biggest credit card company in the world, is NOT Visa/Mastercard….it is the Chinese UNIONPAY. I wonder how well Americans & Europeans might be able to get into the UnionPay system and use it locally?

MoneyGram/WesternUnion, etc, can easily be “blocked” by TPTB, and even when it is not blocked, it still costs TOO much in fees.

Bank wires, also can be stopped, and costs too much in fees.

The postal mail system has been known to grab/block/intercept cash in the mail.

Civil asset forfeiture is another monster that has been gobbling up stuff where ever it can.

So, at this very instant, Bitcoin is the winner (by default). Imperfect as it is, it’s the only thing right now that can function outside of most of “the system”…. it’s still “grid” and internet dependent, but so is the SWIFT system.

      Bitcoin is not legal tender.

      • Windrunner58

        Exactly Eric!

Legal Tender is not money either.

        • mike

He doesn’t get it…If it looks and quacks like a duck..BTC is accepted as money by a lot of people and businesses. It circumvents ALL BANKS and Middlemen/Gubberments. Eric is a troll parrot for the banks not a duck so you can pretty much dismiss 99% of what that parrot repeats, repeats, repeats.

          • Eric

Bitcoin is the munny of criminals and scam artists eh mike?

You know what retard so are PMs lolz an ahahahahaha RETARD@!
But you dont have to worry about paying taxes on stuff that losses money ..RETARD!
Ah hahahahaha so funny. You have just got to be joking no one this earth could be so retarded.I was actually thinking you really were against the one money BTC but your just trollin being stupid. For instance lets say you paid $10 for an OZ of silver and then (This is a huge joke just for illustration) actually bought something with it thats worth $100. You would be on the hook for $90 in capital gains. Of course the capital Gains rate you would pay would depend on how long you owned the Silver. So you would have to produce receipts….But you knew that…Right? That technically applies to everything you buy and sell higher than you paid.

              • Eric

lol. No blockchain that records every transaction with cash or precious metals. But that won’t be a problem for me since I have no interest or desire to use Gold or Silver as payments. Plus I use careful tax planning ahead of time and save all my receipts. Perhaps I will gift some away at some point.

I wonder how much more Silver I was able to stack while you were busy fiddling around with your nintendo virtual worthlessness which for some reason you think is worth something.

Face it mike, you’re a dumbshit and I’m smarter than you. How much patio furniture and other worthless junk are you buying with bitcoin?

      • Craig Escaped Detroit

@Eric, just because I forgot to itemize all the failings of BTC does not mean that I am unaware of them.

I agree that it is Not legal tender. OK, I said it.

Even if it was legal tender, that designation does not make anything into real money either, but I know you already know this too.

Even though it is “digitally mining for digits”, and will never be real, it still has the glory of being one of the few (or only) things that functions as a “money transfer” system, seeminlgy outside of TPTB.

Yes, I also know that the blockchain records and TRACKS everything, and this will eventually lead to a great downfall of many people and the IRS will be “back tracking” to be “back collecting” all those “taxes”, etc.

I don’t own any “Digital Tulip bulbs” (Btc), but I do WISH I would have bought a bunch of them when it was just $200 each, and then use them to buy more SILVER after it rose to $1000.
But hey, it’s still fully tracked and I’m pretty sure TPTB will be tracking all the past “transactions” and levying all kinds of fines and fees. So perhaps it’s good that I’ve never dabbled in Btc.

You and me will survive just fine without BTC. Gimme silver, gimme food, gimme ammo.

Having said all that, but in the face of PayPal being blocked to some people, Swift being blocked to some people, etc,… the alternative (in the “here and now”) getting around the blockage is BTC.

  • Windrunner58

I agree Craig. Bitcoin is gaining swiftly in usage and popularity. And it has TPTB seething. I keep hearing that “it is OK until the net goes down”, but if the net goes down, so does digital cash, and if the net goes down, we have much bigger problems, IMO.

What is going on in India and Venezuela is disturbing and is receiving little coverage by MSM. This year will tell the tale. Trump has his hands full. Unlike his predecessors, he is a business man. Let’s hope he can weather the “Elites” storm ahead.

No matter what happens, things are about to change in 2017. Paypal won’t release funds, Google & You Tube won’t allow “Real News”, the damn is full, and the eager beavers (citizens) are about to break through!!!!

David, keep digging and reporting. Our son and his wife went through a failed adoption attempt. The 5 yr old girl, a victim of pedophilia, was so disturbed that she had to be watched and counseled at all times. They tried but after 8 months, they were advised that it was affecting their other 2 children too much. Professional counselors advised them not to follow through with the adoption in order to protect the other two children in the family. All of us are heartbroken for this little girl. After a lot of prayer and a lot of professional counseling, the young girl has now been adopted by her caring and loving grandparents. And they help her every day, to relearn what is appropriate behavior. They truly love her and patiently care for her, but every waking moment is a challenge as it takes much time and much loving supervision for this precious young girl to return to what God intends her to be -precious, and loved, and happy in a fruitful life. Donald trump is right, pedophiles should be executed. David, my wife and I have heard your videos and have seen other reports, we salute you. God bless you and keep you and your whole house, Bruce in Boise
