Arch That Was A Gateway To The Temple Of Baal Is Going Up In New York’s City Hall Park On Monday

by Michael Snyder, The Economic Collapse Blog:

If you tried to put up a large cross in a public park in New York City there would be lawsuits flying all over the place, but apparently an ancient pagan arch that served as a gateway to the Temple of Baal is no problem at all. On Monday, September 19th, a reconstructed version of Palmyra’s Arch Of Triumph (also known as the Monumental Arch) will be erected in New York City. Specifically, it will be located in City Hall Park in Manhattan. The organization behind this project is known as the Institute for Digital Archaeology, and they have confirmed the location and the date on their official website

This arch was originally constructed in Palmyra, Syria by the Roman Emperor Septimius Severus in the 3rd century A.D., and it stood there until it was destroyed by ISIS in 2015. The following comes from the Wikipedia article about this arch…

The Monumental Arch, also called the Arch of Triumph (Arabic: قوس النصر‎‎) or the Arch of Septimius Severus, was a Roman ornamental archway in Palmyra, Syria. It was built in the 3rd century during the reign of emperor Septimius Severus. Its ruins later became one of the main attractions of Palmyra, until it was destroyed by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant in October 2015. Most of its stonework still survives and there are plans to rebuild it using anastylosis.

On this map you can see how Palmyra was laid out. The Arch of Triumph (identified on the map as the “monumental arch”) connected the main street of the Colonnade with the Temple of Bel. If you wanted to go to the Temple of Bel, there was essentially one way in and one way out, and everyone coming and going would pass through this arch.

Those that are familiar with ancient Middle Eastern deities already know that “Bel” and the “Baal” that we find in the Bible were one and the same. Here is more from Wikipedia

Bel (/ˈbeɪl/; from Akkadian bēlu), signifying “lord” or “master”, is a title rather than a genuine name, applied to various gods in the Mesopotamian religion of Akkad, Assyria and Babylonia. The feminine form is Belit ‘Lady, Mistress’. Bel is represented in Greek as Belos and in Latin as Belus. Linguistically Bel is an East Semitic form cognate with Northwest Semitic Baal with the same meaning.

Back in April, the arch that stood directly in front of the Temple of Baal was supposed to be put up in Times Square, but fortunately that project was ultimately canceled. A reproduction of the Arch of Triumph (the arch discussed in this article) was put up in Trafalgar Square in London at that time, and there were rumblings that a reproduction of the Arch of Triumph would also come to New York at a later date.

Unfortunately, that has now become a reality.

So why are people getting so upset about some ancient arch that may be connected to an ancient god that nobody seems to worship anymore?

SOOoooo,…..every archway in every church is an architectural copy of the gateway to Baal & evil, hellish, blah blah woof woof.

Just as every obelisk is an Egyptian, evil pagan idol worshiping symbol etc.

Every christian fish symbol is for worshiping Mithra, every christian cross is a symbol of materialistic 4 corners of the pagan world, and every “communion ceremony” is the “vampire’s blood drinking conversion into everlasting vampire kingdom”, etc.

Every story & belief system comes from an older version of the same.
    Noah’s flood= Epic of Gilgamesh.
Christ the savior?= there are several older ‘virgin birth’ stories of a godly man who died or was sacrificed and rose after 3 days, etc.
All the millions of people in the past (or even today) who strongly believe their god is the true god, they feel it, the see it in everything in existence, yet their prayers to their god has never caused an amputee to grow any new limbs from the stump either, (same as the God of Abraham, Moses, Jesus, etc.)

Every religion out there claims Godly Miraculous powers over everything in the universe, yet a simple thing like growing a new hand has never happened, even though frogs can grow new hands and feet, lizards can grow new tails but bald men cannot even grow hair.

I like the good old sayings: “Seeing is believing.”
    Show me the money.
    Put up or shut up.
The proof is in the pudding.
You will know them by their fruits. (the fruit basket of religious promises is kinda empty & dusty, filled with a bunch of Fiat “I.O.U’s”….all you have to do, is wait another 5000 or 5 billion years, and after you die, you will see it was worth it.)

Funny thing about “after death promises,…is that nobody can check the results or get a refund.”

A funny old joke about the Pope, Saint, or Pious man who died and went to heaven. He asked to see the library to study, and after many days passed by,…a LOUD WAILING & CRYING was heard coming from the library….the angels rushed in to find him sobbing terribly,…and he was crying out loudly: “They left out the “R”,…they left out the “RRRrrrr!!!”

The angels asked him what was he talking about?

And he replied that the earthly bibles had made a mistake and left out the letter “R” from a very important word.
It was supposed to be “celebRate”, (not= celebate)…and he continued to sob for all eternity.

I can have respect for any person that seeks God, regardless of religion. Those who seek God with all their heart will find Him.

You sir, however I have no respect for because you do not even realize who you serve. Blind and content to be blind serving your Master in the dark.

The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. Psalm 14:1 (KJV)

Not bad as jokes go. Here’s another: God and Satan are playing cards when suddenly God stands up and says, “Hey! You just pulled that last card off of the bottom of the deck! You cheated!”. Satan laughs and says, “Sure I did. That’s what I do. So what?”. Getting angry, God says, “I’m going to sue you!”. Now the devil is laughing hysterically and rolling on the floor in absolute delight. When he is finally able to control himself, he looks at God and says, “You’re going to sue me, right? Just where are you going to get a lawyer? Me? I’ve got LOTS of them!”. 😉

Those that wish to deny a God…please stand by your convictions and under or near the pagan structures that you may choose to worship, when God comes a calling in the end of time……which seems to be shortly upon us….imho
