Most studies show that plant-based foods are the best for fighting cancer. So here are 7 fruits and vegetables that can help you prevent and reverse cancer.

1. Berries
Berries are rich in phytonutrients which fight cancer. Note that black berries have high amounts of phytochemicals which prevent growth of cancer cells. Berries are known to prevent different kinds of cancer including, oral, skin, esophageal and colon cancer. Eating half a cup of berries each day can prevent cancer and improve your health.

2. Tomatoes

One study found that lycopene, a compound in tomatoes, stopped the growth of endometrial cancer. By the way, endometrial cancer causes an average of 8 thousand deaths yearly. Tomatoes can also help fight lung, stomach and prostate cancer. Make sure you eat tomatoes when they’re cooked.

3. Garlic

The sulfide compounds in garlic boost the immune system and can prevent growth of tumors. Research shows that garlic can reduce risk of stomach cancer. Add garlic to your foods and soups every day.

4. Brightly colored oranges

When plant-based foods brighten, it means they have high concentrations of phytochemicals. So when buying oranges get the brightest ones. This also applies to other foods like bananas, pumpkins, sweet potatoes and so on. These foods can prevent different kinds of cancer like colon and breast.

5. Hemp
