from Zen Gardner:
Only 12 people attended Angelina Jolie’s directorial debut of In the Land of Honey and Blood in the Serbian capital.
The movie was based on the romance between a Serbian policeman and a Muslim woman set in the early days of the Bosnian war has been shunned at the movie’s premiere in Belgrade. An artistic attempt at the reconciliation of the old Balkan enemies failed the test.
Jolie’s directorial debut aimed to justify NATO’s brutal butchery and warcrimes against the Serbs in Bosnia during the 1990s, and Jolie even specifically refered to Syria in an Al Jazeera interview.
She put forth a string of utterly hollow gripes about the inactivity of the ‘international community’ as civilians suffer and die. Jolie’s selective morality means she doesn’t once mention Libya – a nation now butchered, fractured, and transformed into a torture state by NATO’s disgusting genocidal ‘humanitarian intervention’; an estimated 100,000 innocent people slaughtered by the very same ‘international community’.
Most likely reading from her pre-defined talking points, Jolie even called out Russia and China for using their veto powers against the ever benevolent ‘international community’ vis-à-vis Syria.
Angelina Jolie painfully upset the Balkan ghosts with her despicable demonizing of the Serbian people.
While Bosnian Muslims celebrated her as a goddess of the art (5000 people cheered Jolie at premiere of the film in Sarajevo ) the Serbs crucified her on the media cross of shame. They wanted neither her nor her film. Overnight, the popular American actress became “persona non grata nr 1 ” in Serbia .
