OBAMACARE RATES SET TO SKYROCKET IN 2016 AS UGLY TRUTH OF SOCIALIZED MEDICINE SETTLES IN

by Geoffrey Grider, Now The End Begins:

OBAMACARE PREMIUM COSTS WILL SOAR 20.3 PERCENT ON AVERAGE IN 2016 INSTEAD OF THE 7.5 PERCENT INCREASE CLAIMED BY FEDERAL OFFICIALS.

As I opened my mail the other day, I was informed that my health insurance premiums would rise over 20% in the new year of 2016. A few weeks earlier I had received a notice that because I did not have Obama-approved health insurance in 2014, that I would have to pay hundreds of dollars in fines in the form of a tax. I am ones of the tens of millions of Americans that this is happening to. America is starting to wake up to the ugly truth of what life under a Socialist-funded regime is going to be like.

Recently, the Obama administration released figures for a modest 7.5% increase in the cost of health insurance for 2016, but they were highly and intentionally skewed numbers. The actual amount, as I found out first hand, is over 20%.

THE INCREDIBLE LIES AND COVERUP USED TO GET OBAMACARE PASSED:

The discrepancy is because the government excluded price data for three of the four Obamacare health insurance plans when the officials issued their recent forecast claiming enrollees would face only a 7.5 percent average rate increase in 2016. When data for all four plans are included, premium costs will actually rise on average 20.3 percent next year. The 2015 Obamacare price hike was 20.3 percent.

The Obamacare program’s federal exchange operates in 37 states where officials declined to set up state-run exchanges. Officials in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Center for Medicare Services, which manages Obamacare, only calculated price changes for the health insurance program’s Silver plan, thus ignoring data for the Bronze, Gold and Platinum plans.

How is it that this cluster fuck Obozocare is constantly called socialized medicine when the only beneficiaries are corporate medical industrial, hospital industrial, insurance HMO’s and big pharma? Each of these corporate entities skims large profits from the system and who benefits? Perhaps the imbeciles that constantly call this rip off socialized should look at other countries systems that really are socialized and run as such at a much lower cost of service provided. The key phrase is “not for profit”. But what the hell, boosting a life saving pills cost from approximately $10 to $700 is “The American Way”.

You beat me to it! I agree, that hybrid, compulsory system is NOT socialized medicine. For one thing, in socialized medicine, research is not financed by drug companies but funded by taxpayers and designed to benefit the greater number of people, versus the few able to afford it. As a result, rather than Big Pharma pocketing enormous amounts of money manufacturing drugs whose adverse side effects largely outweigh their benefits, research encompasses traditional medicines (acupuncture and true-and-tried methods, such as colloidal silver and plants).

Cuba has socialized medicine and it has consistently been rated far superior to ours. Isn’t that ironic that Cuba is the first country to have completely eliminated HIV and syphilis transmission from mother to infant? Cuba’s priority is to cure the problem. Big Pharma’s is to “treat” it for as long as people have money to pour into it.

Then again, Cuba’s priorities have never been to bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran…

Respect of the social contract -providing for everyone basic necessities defined as such nationally- is completely foreign to the US. Money reigns and money rules. The rest of the developed world refuses to live in such an environment. And yet, the American people clamor “socialist medicine” or even “socialism” any time anyone does anything to restore the social contract, while having no qualms allowing their government to squander billions and even trillions in war and voluntarily paying for it. Talk about fucked up priorities!

“May, can I ask you, in most countries, do they take it as a given that everyone should have a right to some basic level of health care?

Cheng: Yes, I would say so. America is the only country, … among the developed countries, that does not have universal national health insurance.

But if you ask Americans, “Does everybody have a right to basic health care?,” what do they say?

Cheng: They say yes, everybody should have health care, on the one hand. But on the other hand, if you ask them, “Are you willing to pay for it?,” they say no. So I’ve never been able to understand this contradiction.”
