from Western Journalism:
MSNBC’s Morning Joe on Monday became a forum for criticizing the Democratic National Committee. Host Joe Scarborough sparked a dialogue decidedly dominated by DNC disapproval.
Scarborough cited the unusual airtimes associated with the party’s sparse primary debate schedule as evidence that, “for the first time in the history of modern politics,” a party is taking every conceivable measure to make sure voters are not exposed to its favored candidate: Hillary Clinton.
“If you had worked any harder to not get people watching your candidates,” he said of Democrat leaders, “you couldn’t have done it.”
The debate schedules have been buried in odd weekend hours, against big television events including NFL playoff games, and ahead of the busy Christmas week.
“At what point,” Scarborough asked panelist Katty Kay, “does somebody call out Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the Democratic Party and the Clinton campaign?”
