Hillary Clinton: Republicans ‘Would Repeal the Affordable Care Act’

from CNSnews:

In her opening statement at the third Democratic presidential debate hosted by ABC News at St. Anselm College in New Hampshire on Saturday night, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that Democrats have to “prevent the Republicans from rolling back the progress that we’ve made.”

“They would repeal the Affordable Care Act–not improve it,” she said.

The Affordable Care Act is also known as Obamacare.

Here is former Secretary Clinton’s opening statement:

Well, thank you, and I’m delighted to be here in New Hampshire for this debate. You know, the American president has to both keep our families safe and make the economy grow in a way that helps everyone–not just those at the top. That is the job.

I have a strategy to combat and defeat ISIS without getting us involved in another ground war, and I have plans to raise incomes and deal with a lot of the problems that keep families up at night.

I’m very clear that we have a distinct difference between those of us on this stage tonight and all of our Republican counterparts. From my perspective, we have to prevent the Republicans from rolling back the progress that we have made. They would repeal the Affordable Care Act–not improve it. They would give more tax breaks to the super wealthy and corporations–not to the middle class, and they would–despite all their tough talk about terrorism-continue to let people who are on the no-fly list buy guns.

    Only if we’re lucky.

Affordable care?? It’s anything but…it’s another one of those bad govt jokes that should be a crime. Anyway, I’d rather neocon Hillary be…repealed…right to the big house. What an unGodly, unconscionable human being.

Right you are Silverado. I pay for my own insurance, or at least I did. I cancelled my policy when I received my latest bill. I was startled by the increase. I can afford to pay it, but I won’t. Fuck them. The “Affordable Care Act” is nothing more than a confiscatory tax. The whole thing just shows how much contempt these people have for the American people, but what is worse is that we let them get away with it and they know it.

I don’t know who she thinks she’s fooling, anyone with half a brain knows who wrote it. K-street bought both sides of the isle just to be sure, red/blue they all dance to the same tune.

This is why I don’t vote. It’s the same criminals on both sides of the aisles. The purpose of Government is to expand and consume wealth from the producers. Obamacare is just one example. It already has had a major negative impact on the US eCONomy.

The best we can hope for is for this shit show to implode. Starving the host is the only way.
