Obama: ‘World Needs…Ambitious, Long-Term Agreement to Protect This Earth for Our Kids’

from CNSnews:

In his weekly statement released today, President Barack Obama said the world needs a climate-change deal to protect the planet for our children and cited Pope Francis in reminding Americans that “this planet is a gift from God.

Obama pointed to the United Nations climate change conference that will convene in Paris at the end of November as an opportunity to forge such a deal.

“Because America is leading by example, 150 countries, representing over 85% of global emissions, have now laid out plans to reduce their levels of the harmful carbon pollution that warms our planet,” Obama said. “And it gives us great momentum going into Paris this December, where the world needs to come together and build on these individual commitments with an ambitious, long-term agreement to protect this Earth for our kids.”

In concluding his remarks, Obama cited Pope Francis.

“After all, as Pope Francis reminds us so eloquently, this planet is a gift from God–and our common home,” said Obama. “We should leave it to our kids in better shape than we found it.”

Here is the complete text of the president’s weekly address

Hi, everybody.  Our country is home to some of the most beautiful God-given landscapes in the world.  We’re blessed with natural treasures – from the Grand Tetons to the Grand Canyon; from lush forests and vast deserts to lakes and rivers teeming with wildlife.  And it’s our responsibility to protect these treasures for future generations, just as previous generations protected them for us.

Since taking office, I’ve set aside more than 260 million acres of public lands and waters – more than any President in history.  Last month, we announced that 11 states had come together with ranchers, and industry groups to protect a threatened species – the sage grouse – without jeopardizing local economies.  Two weeks ago, we announced that we’re creating one new marine sanctuary on the Potomac River in Maryland, and another along Lake Michigan in Wisconsin – part of unprecedented efforts to restore the Chesapeake Bay and the Great Lakes.  We also joined a coalition of countries cracking down on illegal fishing that threatens jobs and food security around the globe. And I’m going to keep protecting the places that make America special, and the livelihoods of those who depend on them.

In order to “protect Earth for our kids”, let’s start by arresting these traitors in Washington.

How many kids has he “protected” from the likes of Dennis Hastert and the rest of the peds in D.C.?

Vas ist zist? Uncle Tomee & his Kabalistic Kabin Krew whinning like Showboaters about Ole Man River? And why are American [and soon, Humanity’s] Children called “Kids”? Perhaps they are merely the offsprings of Goats? When one’s Legacy is Genocide, Slavery & Plunder, what about the long overdue justice for one’s dearly departed Legacy of which the bounties of America belong to? And not to Barefaced Liars with their free “Holidays” and “Golfing Trips” whilst adding more “blood to their hands”.

All know and realise too what Barefaced Liars do best. What most have yet to be able to realise, however, is that most at The Helm of The Affairs of Men merely looked human. If true, The Regurgitation of Truth then becomes a Religion, a Religion being the Knowledge that is unattainable/unrealisable/unempowerable. That of trying to own Truth when attainment is not possible.

Realise too that “Revolutions” is akin to “Antidoting Poison with Poison”. What is needed is not to elimiate “Evil” via eliminating Humanity if only because the queue for replacing “Evil” is Human Selfishness Itself, ALL Energy Transformers being Innately Selfish. What is required is the means to neutralising and dissipating Selfishness. That of self being able to change from Selfishness/Thoughfulness to Selflessness/Thoughtlessness.

As said, “To Err is Human but to Forgive, Divine”. More so when The Divine exists, firstly as The Spiritually Benevolent and secondly as The Energy Creator – but NOT when self is unable to realise so other than to blindly accepting-rejecting so, Religion & Religiosity being “The Mesmeric Tentacle of The Bookie”. More pertinent is the fact that whenever there is Disagreement/Division, it is because said Bookie is Commissioning/Fixing-His-Profit, the main export of The DNA of Downtown TelAviv-Kiev, aka The Number Oners, is Turnkey Casino Operation.

What The World truly needs, therefore, is the ability to change from Selfishness to Selflessness. But how? More so when The Spiritually Benevolent exists but is otherwise “invisible”/Of-Belief-System. That of being a Myth until absolute-finality/Finality for most. The reason why The Vast Majority are addicted to Fame, Fortune & Immortality FF&I], FF&I being The Facades/Cultures of Malevolence/Materialism, Materialism being when The Devolvable/Limitable are Devolved/Limited to repeatedly cycling in futility between A Beginning/Past/”Over”/History and Its Ending/Future/”Under”/Consequence. Repeatedly-so as in being eternally-so until the arrival of Energy Destruction, ONLY those who are able to truly Create being those who are able to truly Destroy.

  • I read the title as ‘from our kids’…

“That of self being able to change from Selfishness/Thoughfulness to Selflessness/Thoughtlessness.”
You sure you got that right, Fritz? I think you might have erred. You may want to swap the “thoughtlessness” for “thoughtfulness” in your third paragraph…

Take that extra bong hit yet?

Global warming is caused by politicians. Kill the politicians, defund the gooberment and things will go back to normal.
