After President Obama’s over-the-top bellicose performance at the just-concluded G-7 summit in Germany, it is becoming more and more obvious that the key to any reliable war-avoidance program, to stop the march towards a potential thermonuclear war of annihilation, is the removal from office of both President Obama and German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Both Obama and Merkel are coming under growing attack for their war provocations, aimed principally against Russia and Russian President Vladimir Putin, but until they are actually removed from office, by constitutional means, the world will remain in the cross-hairs of thermonuclear Armageddon.
As President Obama was using the final moments of the G-7 summit to deliver his latest personal diatribe against Putin, the Russian Ministry of Defense was demanding formal clarification of whether the Obama Administration is planning to leave the 1987 Intermediate Range Nuclear Force Treaty (INF)–in order to dispatch intermediate-range missiles with nuclear warheads to Europe. The Obama Administration has accused Russia of violating the INF Treaty, but has so far failed to provide any details of the alleged violations, other than claims that Russia tested a cruise missile a year ago. The Obama Administration has, however, admitted that the U.S. is considering its own options of leaving the INF Treaty and deploying “counterforce” IRBMs to Europe, or even “countervailing strike capabilities,” involving the launching of pre-emptive nuclear attacks on targets inside Russia.
