When the Contract Has No Clothes

by Dr. Jeffrey Lewis, Silver-coin-investor:

Stevie Wonder wrote the song I quoted in a simpler time – a time when a contract was still a serious formal course of business. Those days are long gone.

  • Contract law is violated everyday with what they call adhesion contracts. They are neither bargained for nor do they offer consideration. And they are also An unconscionable. (a type of contract that leaves one party with no real, meaningful choice, usually due to major differences in bargaining power between the parties)

They cannot. This is called FRAUD and it IS illegal and SHOULD be punished accordingly. Unfortunately, the current Just US Dept. of the US Fed Gov does not believe in enforcing any laws that are not specifically about race. They particularly do not believe in enforcing any laws that inhibit the actions of government employees, no matter how egregious. My reading of the US Constitution does not give them the power to decide which laws will be enforced and which will not. All of these knuckleheads need to be thoroughly investigated once they are out of office and suitable punishments for their actions and inactions applied. Giving them each 20 years in prison, and not one of those country club prisons, would be perfectly justified in most cases, IMO.
