Mockingbird Forbes LIES About Precious Metals Taxation

I get very annoyed when I see the propaganda machine spreading its half-truths about gold and silver. However, I get positively infuriated when I see the Corporate media allowed to spread complete-and-utter lies about gold and silver. We see that today with Forbes, in the second paragraph of this fiction:

Physical precious metals are “collectibles” which are a special class of capital assets. If collectibles are held over one year (long-term), sales are taxed at the “collectibles” tax rate — the taxpayer’s ordinary rate capped at 28%.

This is TOTALLY false. In fact; the vast majority of phyiscal precious metals are not “collectibles”, and could NEVER be categorized as such.
