Disgusted, Russia Officially Gives Up Any Pretense of “Dialog”

from Information Clearing House:

The full address of President Putin to the Federal Assembly is now available online and, since this is a very long text, I will no re-post it here. What I propose to do here is to bring to your attention four verbatim excerpts from his speech with some key segments bolded out.

Most of the speech was on economic and internal matters, but I think that these four points and, especially, the expressions chosen by Putin really “tell the story” of what the Kremlin’s position vis-à-vis the West is nowadays. See for yourself:

So, instead of behaving with the sort of emotional recklessness that the US is so famous for, i.e., superficial bravado and machismo that says more about the West’s weaknesses and vulnerabilities than it does anything else, Russia continues to handle these increasing threats and provocations with confident poise, knowing full-well that they not only hold the high moral ground, but also the ability to deliver the knockout punch when it’s time to do so.

The only question that remains is what round are we in?

I think obama, the one that the “Anglozionist Elite” are using as their front man, knees rattling and brow sweating, is a bit reluctant to leave his corner of the ring. He is too used to having Kerry, Nuland et al. of handling the scary stuff. If the Elite are going to have their war obama needs to stand up in front of the cameras and make his move. No doubt they will have to shove the coward into the fight.

Chuck, my concern is that the West, represented my the “Commander In Chief” (LOL!!), may pull a Tyson. Remember when, out of shear desperation, he bit Holyfield’s ear off?

Well, seeing how the West is incapable of fairness and incapable of winning on a level playing field, Barry may very well do something that is not just desperate, but something that endangers the entire globe.

I’m re-thinking the Tyson analogy, though. Because at least Tyson HAD been a proven champion prior to the Holyfield fight. Barry, on the other hand has ALWAYS been a spineless charlatan, incapable of fighting his way out of a paper bag.

And history has proven that this has pretty much been the case for the West, generally, for a very long time. And this is the reason why so few outside of the West have any respect for Western leaders and institutions.

I agree, Angel, and would add that the Russians also hold the military advantage in the conflict in the Ukraine / Crimea areas. Russia is a land shark and specializes in the kind of open-country mechanized and infantry warfare that is done in areas like this. They are not the ones who sit at the ass-end of a 5,000 mile long supply chain and they are acutely aware of this, as it IS a terrible disadvantage in any kind of combat.
