Stirring The Pot: DOJ Sends ‘Marshals’ To ‘Coach’ The Protesters In Ferguson

by Michael Snyder, End of the American Dream:

Is the Obama administration looking to stir up more trouble in Ferguson?  “Protest marshals” from the same Department of Justice division that organized protests against George Zimmerman in the aftermath of the shooting of Trayvon Martin have been deployed to the troubled city.  It is being reported that these DOJ agents will be “conducting training” for Ferguson protesters that will focus on “best practices for participating in protests”.  Local officials in Missouri hope that this will help defuse the situation, but if history is any guide it may end up doing just the opposite.  According to the head of Judicial Watch, the Community Relations Service of the Department of Justice “has a record of racially inflammatory rhetoric that is extreme in ideology and cynical in its politics”.  Could these Ferguson protests ultimately be used to take us to the next level in the inflammation of racial tensions in America?

Quick, somebody figure out how to turn this back into a divisive racial issue instead of a fascist police state tyranny against it’s citizens issue.

Since the police released the surveillance footage of a person they claim to be Brown allegedly stealing from the store and roughing up the clerk, it does put a different spin on things.

The first link below shows both surveillance video and still footage of the store incident, as well as a photo of a recent “gangsta” pose of a person said to be Brown.

The second link is a short clip by Storm Clouds Gathering, in which a friend of Brown very articulately and convincingly describes the events that took place with the cop that shot and killed him.

If you compare the red hat worn by the man alleged to be Brown in the surveillance footage to that of the one worn by “Brown” in the “gangsta” photo, they are identical.

Furthermore, Brown’s articulate and convincing friend in the SCG clip is similar to Brown’s accomplice in the surveillance footage, and very much like the man in the background of the “gangsta” photo.

Whatever the case, none of this addresses the shooting itself, which is still viewed by many as unjustified. If we are to believe witnesses, he was shot while his hands were in the air, though there was apparently a struggle of some sort with the cop prior to that, which even Brown’s friend admits.

Furthermore, the heavy-handed police state response, in which unarmed and peaceful protesters and reporters were attacked, is another issue in and of itself.

It will be interesting in the days ahead to see where all of this goes, as there’s some who are insisting that the surveillance footage and “gangsta” photo are NOT that of Brown.

Upon re-watching the Storm Clouds Gathering clip, Brown’s friend is identified as Dorian Johnson, the very person who the police claim was with Brown at the store prior to the shooting.

So, not only does he look like the same person, but if we are to believe the police (no easy task these days), then it is the same man.

And it does look to me like the guy in the background of the “gangsta” photo is also Johnson.
