Congressman Hank Johnson of Georgia Will Introduce Bill to Stop the Militarization of Police

by Michael Krieger, Liberty Blitzkreig

As I pointed out yesterday in my detailed thoughts on Ferguson, President Obama has once again proved his irrelevance and uselessness by failing to say anything meaningful on the disturbing events of the past week. In fact, he only decided to address it personally and publicly yesterday after being heavily criticized for issuing a press release about the party he attended in Martha’s Vineyard as civilians in Missouri clashed with a paramilitary police force.

Despite Obama’s complete apathy, there are some Congressmen forcefully speaking out against the trend from “both sides” of the increasingly meaningless Republican and Democrat divide. The most noteworthy thus far appears to be Democrat Rep. Hank Johnson of Georgia’s 4th Congressional district. In fact, he has sent a Dear Colleague letter to fellow representatives of his intention to introduce the Stop Militarizing Law Enforcement Act in September when Congress returns from recess.

  • What a joke. This is THE same idiot that was afraid Guam was going to tip over. Dumb-ass extraordinaire.

Does anybody still think those pukes in Washington have any say in anything?????

Expect cops to get worse. Expect the population to get “more” stupid. Expect your freedoms to continue to disappear. Expect more money to be stolen from you. Expect more murders of innocents across the world.

There is only one answer to all of this…. if that action is not taken……. expect the worse because that is exactly what you’re going to get.

Yea hank Johnson is so dumb he actually is a bag of hammers.

We really do live in the twilight zone. I don’t think I’ll expect much with this one.

Well, that’s quite a doomy assessment Mark F. Oh wait, I agree completely.

This window dressing of a bill to stop the militarization of police has got to be one of the funniest things I’ve read in a long time. Let’s see, the police are already militarized, and he’s proposing a law that will stop more militarization?

Oh, that can’t be it. I’m sure he’s talking about reverting the police back to the days of Car 54 Where Are You?. Right? Haha ha haha hahaha ha.,_Where_Are_You%3F#mediaviewer/File:Joe_E._Ross_Fred_Gwynne_Car_54_1965.JPG

A little late, isn’t it? Ah, just another dog and pony show anyway.

Judging by the way the situation in Ferguson is deteriorating, with the National Guard now on site to “keep the peace”, not to mention the ominous 132-page document titled U.S. Army Techniques Publication 3-39.33: Civil Disturbances (written in APRIL 2014….. hmm…..), it’s obvious what they have in store for future of this nation.

First they start with the increasingly-turbulent inner cities, where economic deprivation, racial tension and police overreach are the most prevalent. Throw in some professional agent provocateurs for good measure (are you listening Ferguson?), and you got yourself a recipe for good, old-fashioned totalitarianism.

As the “heroes” continue to quell inner city riots and protests using lethal force,
the sheeple will quickly become acclimated to the military thuggery. Joe Sixpack will likely cheer it on as if it’s a football game, naively believing it is being done to protect he and his loved ones from those “animals” in the city.

Joe Sixpack will have the surprise of his life when he realizes that the real target all along was ANYONE deemed a threat to the established order, particularly gun owners and government critics (of every stripe).

    Suddenly the cheering will stop.

    Here’s the ominous document:

Here’s a connective idea for the island flipflopper to chew on:

    >> How about upholding the existing immigration laws that are being broken and to arrest those in the Washington giving orders to subvert these laws!?

    >>And speaking of “militarizing” how about doing that at the damn borders already…what are these damn fools calling themselves representatives waiting for, a suit case nuke or an Ebola contagion to cross???

Hank “I Saved Guam from Sinking” Johnson. Funniest Youtube video I have ever seen.
