Russian Ballistic Missile Threat

During April-2014 the Russian military successfully launched and tested a new (mobile launched) multi-warhead ICBM (intercontinental ballistic missile) to validate it’s reliability.

An unmentioned number of simulated nuclear warheads landed at an impact range in the Russian Far East of the SS-27 Mod 2 missile (NATO reporting name SS-29) (Russian name RS-24) – Russia’s newest ICBM which has been touted by Russian officials as designed specifically to defeat U.S. missile defenses.

The mobility makes the missiles very difficult to detect and target and is unmatched by the United States.

We are living in an increasingly dangerous world.
