Moving Closer To War

by Dr. Paul Craig Roberts,

The Obama regime, wallowing in hubris and arrogance, has recklessly escalated the Ukrainian crisis into a crisis with Russia. Whether intentionally or stupidly, Washington’s propagandistic lies are driving the crisis to war. Unwilling to listen to any more of Washington’s senseless threats, Moscow no longer accepts telephone calls from Obama and US top officials.

The crisis in Ukraine originated with Washington’s overthrow of the elected democratic government and its replacement with Washington’s hand-chosen stooges. The stooges proceeded to act in word and deed against the populations in the former Russian territories that Soviet Communist Party leaders had attached to Ukraine. The consequence of this foolish policy is agitation on the part of the Russian speaking populations to return to Russia. Crimea has already rejoined Russia, and eastern Ukraine and other parts of southern Ukraine are likely to follow.

The elite have to have a war. they have to have somebody to blame it on when the economy collapses soon. I don’t think they can hold this economy together much longer. they are tap dancing as fast as they can and losing ground and soon the store shelves will be empty and people will start looking for someone to blame.

Some will blame the traditional groups who have been blamed in the past and start shooting (Masons (templars), jews, catholics, immigrants, blacks, femininists, native americans, whoever……) but some will start looking at banksters and politicians. They have to have a scapegoat and russia will do.

Putin can end this sanctions BS anytime he chooses, simply by shutting the gas and oil valves to Europe until the sanctions are removed. That should take all of 3 days or so.

Next, the US is totally out of position for any sort of military conflict with Russia. We are dorking around in their front yard and wondering why they are pissed. The idiots in DC should ask themselves how they would react to Russia fomenting revolution in Mexico. They would not like that, of course, but fail to see that we are doing precisely the same thing.
