Manufacturing Dissent”: The Anti-globalization Movement is Funded by the Corporate Elites

by Prof Michel Chossudovsky, Global Research

“Everything the [Ford] Foundation did could be regarded as “making the World safe for capitalism”, reducing social tensions by helping to comfort the afflicted, provide safety valves for the angry, and improve the functioning of government (McGeorge Bundy, National Security Advisor to Presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson (1961-1966), President of the Ford Foundation, (1966-1979))

“By providing the funding and the policy framework to many concerned and dedicated people working within the non-profit sector, the ruling class is able to co-opt leadership from grassroots communities, … and is able to make the funding, accounting, and evaluation components of the work so time consuming and onerous that social justice work is virtually impossible under these conditions” (Paul Kivel, You Call this Democracy, Who Benefits, Who Pays and Who Really Decides, 2004, p. 122 )

It looks like the ONLY way around their system – is local resiliency. Such activities, as FOOD SHARE Programs, where food is donated to those in need, or FOOD DRIVES, CLOTHING DRIVES, etc., and really, people becoming more self-reliant, or self-sufficient, but also helping out those in need, locally. This is really one of the roles, that CHURCHES should play, in their local communities – either directly – or in concert with other community organizations.

Greater self-reliance, on the part of communities, and individuals seems like the ONLY remedy, to greater national “debt”, insolvency, and increased control over everything and everyone, by the International Central Bankers, and their System, which allows them to simply print up paper with ink on it, call it “money”, and “debt” at the same time, allowing them to hand it over to their fellow 1% cronies, in the form of a bailout, but tell YOU (and future generations of Americans) that YOU must PAY IT BACK ~ TO THEM ~ AT INTEREST!!!! It’s so %#@$-ing absurd, yet so simple, it’s difficult to believe that this is what they actually do. In this way, they protect themselves, because the American Taxpayer picks up the tab, for Corporate Failure, NOT the 1% themselves. We are subsidizing our own enslavement.
