We’ve got a population problem.
In a few years, the vast Baby Boomer generation will retire.
The Boomer exodus will reduce the share of Americans who are working, hampering the economy’s ability to grow.
Indeed, the population aged 18 to 64 will grow at an annual rate of just 0.2% between 2015 and 2025, compared to 2.1% annual growth from 1960-85.
