Protect Your Money and Identity with Masked Credit Cards

Have you ever been out at a restaurant or even just made a retail purchase and noticed that the receipt actually displayed your full credit card number? While there are laws in place that mandate credit card number masking (displaying only four or so of the last numbers, hiding the rest with XXXX-XXXX-), there are still a few merchants that have not complied.

If you were to leave your receipt on the table, then anyone could come by, take it, and have a lot of your private information (plus your signature) at their disposal. Obviously, should this ever happen, you would want to make sure to hand the receipt directly to your server or be sure that is goes directly into the register.
