A&E has quacked its façade, lifting its suspension of “Duck Dynasty” patriarch Phil Robertson, and plans to resume filming the hit reality show next spring featuring the entire family.
Noting that “Duck Dynasty” “is not a show about one man’s values,” the network waddled around its decision to resume the show following callous remarks Robertson made in the latest edition of GQ, in which the 67-year-old hunter turned TV star quoted the Bible and compared homosexuality to bestiality. He also said black people with whom he hoed cotton in the pre-civil-rights-era South “were happy.”
