And you alone held the technology to use it.
Every time anyone in the world wanted to fire up their barbeque, their fireplace, or even their stove, they would have to cut you a check for the privilege of using your invention.
Even if the amount were just pennies, it would add up very quickly. Your wealth would dwarf that of the Saudi princes, Bill Gates, and Warren Buffett combined.
Governments would bow at your feet, as access to your technology meant the difference between life and death for their countries. World geopolitics would be your plaything.
