Obamacare enrollees become Urban Legend

Nearly two weeks after the federal government launched the online Health Insurance Marketplace at, individuals who have successfully used the choked-up website to enroll for a subsidized health insurance plan have reached a status akin to urban legend: Everyone has heard of them, but very few people have actually met one.

The Miami Herald searched high and low for individuals who completed enrollment for a subsidized health plan through the marketplace, also called an exchange, launched by the federal government on Oct. 1 in 36 states, including Florida.

    Obviously, the numbers of those who have managed to open and account and actually get a health insurance plan are minuscule. If they weren’t, the Obamunists would be shrieking their heads off about it in every media venue they could find… and they aren’t.

    Part of the reason for this is that the web site is a complete cluster f***, that is very difficult to use and that has many glitches that either waste a lot of time or fail completely in their tasks.

    The other part is the look of stunned disbelief on the faces of the mooch class who finally discover that Obama Care isn’t free and that THEY have to pony up a lot of bucks for their “affordable” health insurance.
