A Syrian Citizen in Exile Discusses the Civil War

from Dissident Thinker:

We had the opportunity to speak with a Syrian citizen who was studying abroad as the war broke out. He is now stuck outside his country seeking asylum.

When he phones home, he can hear gunshots in the background. His family lives in a neighborhood near government scientists. A US/NATO intervention would have dire consequences for innocent civilians.

At the end of the day, he says he and his friends most seek stability, be it with or without Assad in power. He was touched by our reaching out to him and for those supporting innocent Syrians who are suffering as a result of civil and proxy warfare, waged both by internal factions and foreign actors.
