Survey: 1 in 3 Americans believe conflict in Syria is a sign of biblical end times

by Madison Ruppert, End The Lie:

A new survey by LifeWay Research found that one-third of Americans surveyed believe that the Syrian conflict is a sign of biblical “end times” events, though only one-fifth believe the world will end in their lifetime.

The survey also found that one-fourth of those surveyed believe a U.S. military strike could lead to the battle of Armageddon. However, some believe such a strike is now out of the question thanks to the U.S.-Russia chemical weapons deal.

A military operation is clearly not ruled out just yet and some in Washington are calling the chemical weapons agreement “meaningless.”

With or without Syria we are probably in the middle of an extinction event anyway. 1 in 3 people used to believe in the tooth fairy.

So these 33.3% of the American people want to see this happen so Jesus can come back? Is that what they are saying here?

NaySayer you have once again demonstrated what an ignorant tool you are. Bible prophecy predicts that in the days preceding the end of the age Damascus, the oldest perpetually inhabited city on the earth, will be brought to ruin. I feel I must inform you that Damascus is a city in Syria because I’m sure your ignorance knows no bounds. So let that sink in – the Bible has stated that a city which has survived millenia will be destroyed in the final days at the end of the age.

Actually I know exactly where Damascus is and what names the area it is in had in the past. What seems to surprise people the most around here is that I have not been indoctrinated with what often amounts to the national corporate religion, christianity.

Thankfully my parents didn’t shove it down my throat so I am extremly happy that they didn’t. And you didn’t answer my question, doesn’t the end times have to happen so that jesus can come back? Aren’t there some christians praying for it to happen so that their jesus can come back? Nice way to ignore the actual question.

Just like a moths drawn to a light in the dark,it’s interesting to note, just by the article headings you automatically can guess who you will find making comments, comments that usually reveal extremely limited understaning and knowledge on the subject.
