Holder Warns Wall Street: More Prosecutions Coming Over 2008 Financial Crisis

[Ed. Note: This is the man who has fought tooth and nail to protect Wall Street from the reimplementation of Glass-Steagall.]

by Todd Beamon, Activist Post:

Attorney General Eric Holder said on Tuesday that the Justice Department is nearing decisions on several cases involving large financial institutions, and that he plans to announce new prosecutions stemming from the 2008 economic meltdown in the coming months.

“My message is, anybody who’s inflicted damage on our financial markets should not be of the belief that they are out of the woods because of the passage of time,” Holder told The Wall Street Journal . “If any individual or if any institution is banking on waiting things out, they have to think again.”

  • I agree with not re-implementing Glass Steagall. And while we’re at it, how about abolishing the Fractional Reserve Banking system and FDIC insurance. No more booms and busts. Problem solved.

Keep it coming SGT ! Great stuff as always!

“This is the man who has fought tooth and nail to protect Wall Street from the reimplementation of Glass-Steagall.”
And Eric says, “No need to implement Glass-Steagall folks, I have it covered for you, because THIS TIME I’m going to really really REALLY give them a big slap on the wrist.”

Let me get this straight. This pathetic loser is going to wait five years then pick a couple fall guys out of the pack and make it look like they were the bad apples and let the rest go. How can anyone be stupid enough to vote for these idiots?

I think they know they have to “say” some stuff because people are getting more and more pissed off. But he can spew whatever bullpuckey he wants, it doesn’t mean anything.

When I see actual prosecutions of people like Jon Corzine, bush, cheney, obama, Dimon, etc. then I will know that the rats are turning on each other because it is all going down the toilet.
