The Way of Waking Up – Alan Watts

by SuspiciousObservers, ZenGardner.com

Another great talk from Alan Watts. He touches on some extremely revealing points here you don’t want to miss. Just love his lucidity and exposure of the human psyche and all its machinations.

As he says here, “Do you define yourself as a victim of the world, or as the world?” Enjoy this revelatory short talk. – Zen

    Alan Watts, absolutely classic.
    learned from Jiddu Kishnamurti,
(The greatest cult buster of all time)

Did he stop going by the name Ram Dass now? I always thought that was cheesy

NaySayer you really are a tool. Richard Alpert went by the name Ram Dass, not Alan Watts, and they’re both dead.

“Do you define yourself as a victim of the world, or as the world?”

That’s the choices offered? Pity the fool.

How about as a Sojouner, a Pilgram, in the world but not of it, the wheat among which the tare also grows, a servant of the Living God.

This little talk by Watts starts out with the false claim that You are God, continues with the next lie of “reincarnation” and then begins the lies about Christianity. Watts talks about “waking up” and yet spreads all these lies in his condescending manner, because you know…he is among the elite which alone is privy to this esoteric knowledge. You need him as your guru, not Christ as your Savior.

Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent…said…, “Did God really say…?”

3:4 “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman.

    3:5 “…you will be like God…”

But thou read’st black where I read white.”

Here are some words from the Living God on the matter:

2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Pr 14:12 ¶ There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. (Not Reincarnation)
