Don’t Let the Coming Chaos Drain the Rest of Your Retirement
You’ve been scammed.
I don’t mean to alarm you, but it’s true.
Whether through digital extortion, travel rip-offs, health insurance, identity theft, private loan fraud, meaningless (yet outrageous) miscellaneous fees, or other hidden charges, we’ve all fallen prey to parasitic scam artists lurking behind a few charismatic smiles and a lot of sticky fingers.
And it gets worse…
Trouble in Paradise
While vacationing in Maui with a few friends last week, we decided to check out a few booths scattered across the island advertising discounted adventure tours, sunset dinners, and luaus. Sure, we were looking for a discount… but we were more interested in performing a social experiment — namely to find out how they were able to offer these pricey excursions for hundreds of dollars less than the actual cost.
