Why Has US President Already Delivered Guilty Verdict to Boston Bombers?

Obama: ‘President delivers ‘executive verdict’ as Feds draft in Gitmo interrogators to handle 19 year old student held in custody’

by Patrick Henningsen, 21st Century Wire:

Rule number one for any serious crime scene or investigation is to gather all the evidence and all the testimonies first, before being able to establish criminal charges, let alone deliver any meaningful verdict.

In an extraordinary executive intervention, the President of the United States has weighed in on the Boston Bombing case – already delivering a guilty verdict for the Tsaranev brothers.

Executive Verdict? Barack Obama informed the nation this weekend, “Whatever hateful agenda drove these men to such heinous acts will not, cannot, prevail. Whatever they thought they could achieve, they’ve already failed.”

The President added to this conclusion,“Why did young men who grew up and studied here as part of our communities and our country resort to such violence?”

Kinda reminds me of Nixon saying Manson was guilty and how close that was, through Manson’s clever headline exposing to a sequestered jury, to a mistrial. The difference here is that the alleged bomber has no rights… so nothing Obalama says can prejudice the trial he’s not having…
Anyhow, that’s my take… from a distant land. I’m certain Americans may have a different take.

Indeed we do, Long John. It is entirely possible that these guys ARE guilty and were caught pretty much red-handed. They were identified shooting at police. They were identified throwing explosive devices at police. They were seen on video in the crowd near where the bombs were detonated. They did have backpacks before the explosions but not afterward. Sometimes, a criminal is just a criminal. Also, while the US Gov does have a history of excesses, it does not always go to excess. This is looking a lot like one of those times. All that said, I will be more than happy to await the findings of the court of record in this case without inserting an uninformed opinion into the matter. Hopefully, we will have a fair trial and whatever punishment or exoneration the court determines.

Of course it’s possible they were guilty. Arrest and Mirandise…

All those things you mention are evidence for a fair trial, not a guilty verdict by you or the prez or anyone else. I’m completely appalled that you are ‘more than happy’ to await the findings of a court… as if you should have a choice? I may think they are guilty, but I’m not the president saying so. If I was the guys lawyer, I’d be suggesting now that the president has proclaimed them guilty, there is no fair trial possible. But is / was a fair trial intended for this kid? That was my question. I expect you refer to yourself being uninformed. That hardly applies to me. I am an American citizen living abroad and apparently 40 years away has not dulled my senses of the American constitution and how it should be applied the way that yours has been dulled by living in its midst. cheers… you have a nice day.

If this guy isn’t given a public trial, all bets are off.
If people don’t demand justice, there won’t be any.
All theories be damned because they’re irrelevant in the absence of due process.

long john, ed has mis-spoken…the fact is, the younger brother was pictured moving with the crowd away from the bombing site WITH HIS BACKPACK STILL ON HIS BACK. this american citizen should have had his miranda rights read to him at his arrest as every american is ENTITLED TO. Dictator Obama is NOT omnipotent and is FAR from the AUTHORITY of anyone’s innocence or guilt. he should actually shut his mouth and allow our judicial system to work as it should. in fact, a quick leap to label him guilty does nothing but reinforce the knowing that this was a set up. why would ANYONE try to assign guilt? we have a system in the US for allowing facts to be presented to a jury and letting the jury decide if the evidence proves BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT that an individual is guilty of a crime. to interfere or inject a “decree” is to presume one self to be more than they are…and obama seems to have a penchant for this. he is a cheap little gofer for his bosses, nothing more, nothing less.

obama needs to ask himself that same question as why these men would do such a thing
