Obama Drug Czar Says States Can’t Nullify Federal Drug Laws

by Joe Wolverton, II, TenthAmendmentCenter.com:

During a speech at the National Press Club on Wednesday, April 17, the White House drug czar, Gil Kerlikowske, announced that the Obama administration would adopt a zero tolerance policy when it comes to enforcing federal drug laws.

At the luncheon, Kerlikowske said that the U.S. Department of Justice will retain jurisdiction over the enforcement of existing federal statutes criminalizing the use of controlled substances, including marijuana. Any state laws to the contrary, he said, are of no legal effect.

“No state, no executive can nullify a statute that has been passed by Congress,” the director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy told the National Press Club audience.

Gil you retarded fuck-stick. States can do whatever the fuck they want. It’s called the 10th Amendment. You may want to look into it.
I will help you. Apparently, you’re mentally challenged:
The Tenth Amendment is the last part of the Bill of Rights, and is intended to protect state sovereignty as well as (to an extent) individual rights from being usurped by the Federal government.

Apparently it escapes federal attention that it was the states that originally formed the federal government and they can just as well un-form it… as in dissolve it and create a new one, or not, as they so choose.

Here is a bit of the kind of wording that could be used:

“Whereas, the current federal government of the United States of America has violated the constitutional principles upon which this nation was conceived, let it be hereby known that it is ruled as dissolved and of no further legal consequence whatever. The states will now convene to discuss whether or not a new federal government shall be created. It WILL conform to the tenets of the US Constitution, as amended, or it too shall be dissolved and replaced until a conforming federal government exists.”
