You forgot the base or flattop that the plane originates from…and the corps that suck the money out of you, your kids and your grandkids to pay for it.
but hey, a few have great jobs and fewer yet great powers.
Not to mention the copious amounts of jet fuel burned by the jet, especially if it has to fly thousands of miles from home base to extend the fist of America Fuck Yeah around the world.
Not to mention the pay of the pilot as well as free health care the pilot gets, the maintenance costs of the aircraft, the utility bills to keep the lights on at the hangar, the rent (if any) that is paid for the extra space on whatever foreign base the jet is stationed at, the cost of any additional training (schools) to the pilot, the pay and cost of training as well as benefits to the crew that services said jet, any liability insurance associated with any part of the jet, crew member, or said pilot, or said base, as well as the MGIB to pilot and all crew members. Not to mention the LCAC that may direct the pilot in theater during attack and all its crew, insurance, maintenance costs, and so on, not also to mention the radar tower operators and their costs and so on….
Need I say more? It actually costs much much more to drop a bomb on a $10 tent.

Oh, and don’t forget about the pay for the extra man power to guard the jets while they’re parked, and the cost of the ammunition for the jet and the personnel guarding it.
