Alex Jones, the father of 9/11 Truth and controversial radio host behind the petition to deport Piers Morgan, made a memorable appearance on Morgan’s show on Monday.
Jones spent most of it shouting at Morgan while Morgan asked him to “just have a debate.” He accused Morgan of being a “hatchet man of the New World Order” and brought up 9/11 Truth theories, brandishing a fistful of documents, and mocked Morgans’ British accent.
What other option did Alex have to avoid being drawn into a planned ambush. Piers is an expert at that and Jones tried his best in the beginning, to circumvent it. He had to go postal because Piers kept asking the same inane questions that were designed to draw him into a disingenuous argument that would paint Jones and 2nd amendment proponents, as (vicariously, through gun ownership) equally mad as Lansa, insensitive to the crimes of the perpetrator of the Sandy Hook massacre and therefore likeminded criminals.
Law abiding citizens must ask these attackers of their rightful ownership of firearms, to recite the second amendment before opening their mouths. Admittedly, Alex could have been just as insistent without the belligerent, albeit warranted, anger.

Agreed. AJ dropped a lot of info, as intended, for the sheeple to google. He expected a hit job and played his cards…. Classic and very freakin’ enjoyable. I think you missed my point KK. He has a right to be angry and I think that I am as angry as he is. I just thought that having seen him speak somewhat calmly and rationally, I wonder why he didn’t assert himself firmly without the yelling. Firm and unyielding would have produced a better result. His denigration of his opponent and the linking of the issues with the network’s sponsors got him kicked off the show. That denied him more air time but I suppose that his insistence on getting his points across would have had him tossed out on his ear anyhow. See his post above. Alex should return the “hospitality” and invite Piers onto his show down in Texas. I’m sure he’d consider bringing his armed body guards.

Nice to see that people generally agree that Alex did a good job against the odds in the bear pit. Piers Morgan vs. Alex Jones – the archetypal corporate whore against a flawed, but real, patriot. I think that this clip will reach millions of people, and introduce some of them to real issues for the first time in their lives. Alex’s animated style isn’t to everyone’s taste, but it is certainly effective in getting heard.
Alex came off as a crazed lunatic. Him screaming 1776 was a bit too much. He did more to hurt the gun lobby than to help it. He kept shouting over Piers and just looked like an anxious angst driven juvenile.
Even with some good jabs (whether piers had security, the violent crime rates in europe, the purpose of the 2nd amendment etc) I would still mark this as a loss for our cause. Someone needs to talk to Alex he is starting to come apart at the seems. While I respect and appreciate his passion, his bully tactics and his delivery leave ALOT to be desired.
We need a new spokesperson. Someone who would be able to calmly debate Piers and his ilk and leave them cold with bona fide FACTS.

That was already tried with the guy from Gun owners of America. The GOA guy provided loads of evidence in retort to Piers’ insane rantings and only received filibustering in return.
Alex Jones did what he had to do. I only wish there could have been a studio audience. I think Piers learned his lesson from when he had Ventura on not to do that.
