Sheer, unadulterated bull-shit. Look-the only truth here is the fact of eternity being part of us, for we all have an eternal soul and spirit. But Alan’s “instructions” for how to “arrive” are TOXIC SLUDGE. The only hope for sinners is that Christ is Risen. Let’s all agree that everyone reading this website is a sinner. It is lunacy to want eternal life but not examine Christ’s claims of being the only begotten Son of God. Whosoever truly desires to know if He indeed rose from the dead will discover that it truly is the greatest event to ever happen upon earth. It is a free gift, this salvation of God, but it will cost you everything. You must forsake all things and embrace Christ above all things. You will find He is ETERNAL, GLORIOUS, BELOVED, HOLY, TRUE, FAITHFUL, MERCIFUL, MIGHTY, GRACIOUS AND MASTER! Deny this truth at your peril.

Not ONLY are you guys AWAKE you appear Wise of the ONLY TRUTH that truly matters and THAT IS ONE ALONE, His Name is Jesus Christ!

I’ll be afraid at times against the knowledge inside me but that will be flesh for I know the TRUTH. I’ll be cold, wet, hungry, and maybe even shed tears in what is to come but in the end I will stand before the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

Da 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
Da 12:10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

In response to the comment by “supernatural”. Amen and amen.

Alan Watts was the best of the best.
Brilliant. Have read all his books.

Another new/old age philosopher, actually he is espousing Theosophy, that there is no death only reincarnation and that God/Cosmos are One and we are one with the Cosmos all we need to do is unleash our Inner Devine Spark and develop our ” I AM ” Godhood through ever evolving lives based on proper successful management of Karma. It’s Pantheism and part of the Great Lie ” That You Can Be As Gods “. He packages his deception so eloquently with his delivery. Supernatural, you nailed it exactly. The great equalizer on who has the Truth relative to a Soul’s Eternity is Death. No Man has returned from the Grave save one.The Scriptures teach not to fall for Vain Philosophy and beware of Doctrines Of Devils. And to think, people pay thousands of Dollars for this lying deceptive Clap Trap. Sorry SGT, I have to speak the truth as I know it on this one.

The world is setting up quite nicely for the man of perdition. People look high and low, to and fro, to avoid the only real Truth this world has ever known. They will clamor enthusiastically for the coming counterfeit. The roman magistrate staring Truth stone in the face asked, “what is truth”? He missed it. As will the 99.9%. Those awake to the NWO far outnumber those awake to the Truth.

That was pure drivel. It is a combination of pantheism (everything is God including you, a rock, a bowling ball, etc.) solipsism, and New Age BS. I and you are NOT the universe. The Triune God of the Bible, the only God who is really there, existed before anything existed. God created the universe ex nihilo. God is separate from his creation not a part of it. We humans were made in the image of God and we are finite creatures not infinite. The first poster is correct. It is about Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ alone because He paid the price. Look up the historical evidence for His resurrection and if you are looking for the truth you will find that Jesus indeed rose from the dead in real space and time just like I am communicating to you now in real space and time. Thus, Jesus was who He said He was. He was and is God, the second person of the Trinity and every knee will bow and every tongue will confess when standing before Him that Jesus Christ is Lord. Period.

Even our friendly silver camp and freedom lovers here will divide over this issue some day. Look at the evidence for yourself. Then you’ll really be awake. Jesus Christ is Lord of the universe He created. Not you.

I may not have the head knowledge and intellect some of you have on many subjects but I DO have the HEART knowledge and ACCEPT that Jesus IS LORD of ALL!

It works for me. I didn’t go looking for Him, He introduced Himself to me as I went looking for other things to place in the void that was in my heart. He spoke, I acknowledged and received His FREE gift and pardon and have NEVER been the same.

I am glad I find other believers in here. God is good.

As long as the Lord Tarries you can learn of him and grow in his righteousness. However, we are saved by grace through faith in him.Look at this example,at the crucifiction there were two thieves, one to the right, one to the left. The one said if you are who you claim then free yourself. The other thief rebuked what he said, this man has no guilt and does not deserve this, we do because we are guilty and then he said to Jesus: Remember me when you come into your kingdom then Jesus turned his head and told the thief: today you shall be with me in paridise! For who so ever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. It’s as simple as that.

my answer these days as to the life after death question is : ” I don’t know or I can’t remember ” . the concept by Alan of “imagine if you go to sleep and never wake up….” ….I can’t buy that one because ” I don’t know or I can’t remember”.

To all that are like minded in Christ, I cannot highly enough recommend Graham Cooke. I attended a conference of his at The Rock in Castle Rock, Colorado in early August. On a scale of 0 to 10, it was a 12. DVD’s are available. I haven’t received my set (5) yet, but when I do, I will be very busy sharing them with a multitude of friends. Graham Cooke is OVER THE TOP. He articulates the Gospel better than anyone has ever articulated it before. MAX Spiritual Nutrition.

And yet the earliest orthodox church, which became the church of Rome, The Roman Catholic Church, the Vatican edited the New Testament to their liking. This is where the real money is and the evil entities we are battling reside. I am a student of the teachings of Jesus but do not label myself a Christian. The church gave him the title of Christ. Constantine I established Christianity as the religion of the Eastern Roman Empire. Tell me what was Jesus up to between the ages of 12 and 30? The part doesn’t seem to be written in the scriptures. He never desired to create a religion. You missed the whole point of this speech. It’s not about becoming gods. Life is a precious gift and we are each here at this time for a specific purpose searching for the divine in each of us. I believe in a creator but God comes from within. Everything is energy. There is no matter. When we die, our energy transforms into the spirit world where we learn from the mistakes we made until we decide to come back. The ancient egyptians knew this and so did the Atlanteans.

Wow, a heavy Christian vibe in this SGT Report thread. I didn’t know there were so many strident theocrats in the PM movement. My bad.

Is that because this subject attracts the catastrophists, of which the greater portion always seem to be the Christian lot?

Alan Watts is a classic, and unbound to old paradigms. If you can’t grok his philosophical speech and manage a smile, then you are tied to a stake of your own making.

I believe the exploration of the infinite wonders of the universe, and the unsearchable knowledge of God will be manifest and revealed, through an in-person, intimate relationship with Jesus. It all begins with acceptance of the wonderful free gift he purchased through his shed blood for our sins.

What a love he has for us. To become a man, live a sinless life, and at the hands of his own creation, die the most horrible death ever devised by mans darkened heart, crucifixion. However, this crucifixion was different. Jesus not only felt the horrible pain of physical agony; He carried the weight of the sins of the world on his shoulders as he became the sacrifice for it all. Suffering the wrath of God the father, upon sin, which he became, he saved us from eternal separation from God.

You can believe the lie that you can become a god if you want. I know better. I can’t even keep away from fatty foods, losing my temper, or lusting after beautiful women. And Jesus knows that. Hence the greatest hero of all time, makes the ultimate sacrifice purely out of love, to save a gluttonous, angry, adulterer, who could not save himself. Thank you Jesus.

  • Jim

wow no love lost in the comments so far… sheesh!

  • stuart

sean, this is pure bs. Why did you put it up? Such nonsense.

I enjoyed the video…..I believe too many of us brought up with religion will always reject these philosophies. I can not say either side is right or wrong. Watch:

I think people don’t really understand what Jesus represents.

  • Hapa

Religion divides people and has historically been used by the elite to create a meme of dependency. That is an old, old way of social control.

You can have your private deity to have a relationship with, but as soon as you try and push it onto other people, you become an aggressor and diminish your god.

I like hearing from people when they wax poetic about Jesus’ love, but some use their Christianity to whitewash the subject of spirituality and use it as a hammer to disparage others beliefs.

The world is plenty big enough for both Alan Watts and Jesus. Isn’t that what we are fighting for?

While I believe (faith) in a God/Creator, I don’t believe in religion and religious organizations. There is a subtle difference between faith and religion. For the Christians out there (I’m still barely one in the sense that we may well all technically have faith in the same God and just not realize it), I recommend doing some deep research into the origins and history of the Bible and of Christianity which came out of the Holy Roman Empire. I understand that Christians almost always quote from the Bible as though it is fact because they/we were told it was “God-breathed” and had always accepted that as the basis of our faith perhaps never questioning that. My question is “what IF the Bible was man-made or at least man-manipulated?” I recommend looking into the origin of the Bible and the Council of Trent. It seems to me that a bunch of Roman men decided what was included or excluded from the Bible. There are even different accounts of the Adam and Eve story within the Roman Empire. Even the Holy Roman Empire’s history before Christianity “started” was filled with many different forms of paganism.

  • Neo

I agree. I also believe that religion (a form of groupism) is used by the elites to divide the masses to fight amongst themselves as a distraction which the tiny in numbers elites do their pillaging behind the scenes. If one looked at even the 3 major religions (Christianity, Judaism, Islam), there are a number of similiarities and parallels.

Much respect for Alan Watts. I’ve been listening to his lectures for years and consider him to be the most important figure in bringing understanding of eastern culture to the west. I don’t understand how so many people on this normally open minded forum are acting so close minded about this video. Maybe the music in the background makes the message sound sensational or over produced?
