Interesting. Clif at Halfpasthuman.com has been predicting March 2012 as a “come to Jesus” time almost 10 years. Clif, like Bix, has not been able to fully nail down the exact details, but he is working on it.

I feel like Fox Mulder from the X-Files. I want to believe, and I know the truth is out there. I really want to believe Bix is on to something, however I cannot, and will not place my faith in some supposed white hats waving a magic wand and fixing everything for us. I spent years in the Philippines getting drunk with a bunch of yahoos’ searching for Yamashitas treasure, and actually worked for a few months on one project; a wreck, about 30 meters deep. That project alone cost around $500,000 and somebody (investors) paid for it.
Setting aside the widely quoted estimate of 160,000 tonnes of above ground gold, the numbers being talked about are ludicrous. In one part of “gold warriors” by Sterling and Peggy Seagrave, (an excellent book and well worth reading) a Filipino boy describes how the Japs had problems manoeuvring a Buddha into a cave. In the book, going by memory, it was a sixteen foot Buddha supposedly made from solid gold.
First off, assuming it was sixteen feet high, the base could have been around 8 feet and perhaps as little as six feet deep (remember he is a fat god), that is 768 cubic feet of gold.
Because a cubic foot of gold weighs around 1,200 Lb, that would make our little Buddha weigh over 400 Metric Tonnes. Not particularly easy to manoeuvre from the mountains of Java to the highlands of the Luzon. Today, Thai tradition is to use gold leaf to layer over a plaster Buddha, if our sixteen foot Buddha was gold leaf, it would have barely been worth few ounces.
Another segment to take from Gold Warriors is his chapters on the repudiation of Japanese bonds after WW2. It sounds eerily similar to what is occurring here, and to learn more search for Leo Wanta, a very strange tale indeed.

Can someone please tell me why Ben/Benjamin Fulford has any credibility? Every year he plants some crazy story with zero evidence which never pans out. A few years back he was planting some crazy story about how Chinese Assassin Ninja’s were on a mission to kill Bush as “revenge”. I shit you not. Yet here we are one crazy story after another and somehow the guy is still getting his name out there in the blogosphere no matter how crazy the claims. Why? The man is either a disinfo agent or just a nutjob. I think it’s the latter.
I might add that Bix Weir’s credibility must be questioned at this point if he is relying on Ben Fulford for info. This pretty much seals the deal for me as far as tuning out Bix. He has said some pretty ridiculous things for example the Sarah Palin endorsing Ron Paul which is BS. Then there is his whole conspiracy theory of there being some rich and powerful “good guys” out there planning to bring down the banks and restore a gold backed dollar. Pure fantasy just like Fulford. Unless someone brings evidence and facts to the table to support their conclusions and theories they should not be given the time nor the soap box to promote their nonsense. Please focus on more credible individuals because you should not associate yourself or your blog with them.
Many interesting comments on this story. When I consider all the ideas and opinions being tossed about, I always go back to one idea that has proven correct more times than not. That is the idea, that there are no coincidences. As pertaining to all these world bank executives resigning in such a short period of time—I think they know what’s coming, and they want time to go to their hideaway in the boonies, that they have been preparing for a long time. They knew this day was coming, and it has arrived.
When the masses wake up, as they are now, and will really , finally wake up when we have a collapse, they will be looking for these sociapaths to string up in a gallows. To me, it makes perfect sense that they would get out of Dodge about now.
