  Everytime you are signed into a google service and you do a search – they are tracking you. Google is the best at this point in time so I think I’ll have to abandon my email account with them or use another search engine or vice versa.
  Google is very secretive about their servers but if they are in a country where the government subpoenas google for your information then they will hand it over to TPTB.
